Sign stolen from Democratic HQBy WALT WILLIAMS, Chronicle Staff Writer
The sign marking the headquarters of the Gallatin County Democrats was stolen within the past couple of days and it was not a simple job.
The large vinyl sign probably was taken sometime Monday night or early Tuesday morning from the office on Mendenhall Street, said Ryan Seher, Tracy Velazquez's campaign manager.
Stolen political signs during election years are nothing new. But usually they're yard signs, and usually the thieves strike closer to election time.
"We still got three months until the election," Seher said Wednesday.
