Right, Conrad, just shut your eyes real tight, stick your fingers in your ears so you don't hear anything and ignore the real terror millions of Americans have to deal with: the fact that if they need serious health care, it will pretty well destroy their lives and any chance of financial survival

Burns and Tester observations on health care differ

While 47 million Americans are without health insurance, Burns said he does not think the country needs to move toward universal coverage, which is some form of government-mandated or government-funded basic insurance for all.

The free market should be relied on to take care of the problem, he said.

"Right now, the system is broken," said Tester, a Big Sandy farmer and president of the Montana Senate. "The health care crisis that Montana and the United States face today is the most pressing issue upon us. People can't afford to get sick."

"I think we need to change the system," Tester said. "Everything is open to me, including a single-payer system. We'll get the best possible solution, but we need everything on the table."

Burns can't admit the problems ALL other Americans know exists because:


A) He really is a senile doofus with no ability to know what is happening

B) He only talks to Fat Cats and they have no trouble paying for health care

C) He is a lying sack of corporate (s)tool who won't get paid by the lobbyists if he tells the truth about how bad the system really treats most Americans

D) Combination of all the above
