Kleeb way behind in polls |
|
I will say now, I said yesterday and I will say tomorrow: Scott Kleeb should not have run for United States Senate as it has the potential to ruining his political future. Rasmussen has him trailing 33 percent to Johanns 60 percent. http://www.electoral-vote.com/index.html

what would he ever be able to win if he can't win in the third running for an open seat, and he can't win a Senate seat with an open seat. What would have been a better opportunity? State Senate? He can still do that.
Sorry to see Kleeb behind. Johanns is the biggest piece of shit we could possibly have for our Senator. He's absolutely useless for anything besides towing the Republican line.

Johanns is pretty much a predatory politician, taking advantage of the easy issues and going with the flow. When he was mayor he didn't do much (the salt dogs would have never made it here had he stayed) and he had a "9/11" type of moment that help elevate him when, to his "luck", a huge snow storm hit Lincoln and caused a lot of damage. He was able to look like the cool and competent leader during a crisis. These are the kind of qualities that a successful Republican needs these days.
Kleeb squandered much political capital by running for this U S Senate office. He's going to get creamed, barring some unforeseen problem with Johanns (like being caught in bed with a young boy). He hasn't proved himself in office, and he has never been elected to ANYTHING. Heck, even Abraham Lincoln was elected to a legislative seat in Illinois before running in national politics. It's too late for Kleeb to change his mind about this race, and I fear that this may be the last time we see him run for an office. Too bad, he was (I understand) once considered to be the future of the Nebraska Democrats. Guess they're going to have to look elsewhere.

3. I wish that Nebraskans would realize the damage that Johanns |
|
did to the human services system in Nebraska as governor. It has been decimated to the point that certain people who need help desparately, and are potentially dangerous to society, cannot get the help they need. Many violent crimes including murders could have possibly been prevented, had help been available. It is a shame and is going almost unnoticed.

That's highly unfortunate. Johanns is worthless, politically.
