I'm Pete Ricketts and I am gonna make it impossible to vote against Nelson

This is why, sometimes I get so frustrated living in Nebraska. Nelson sucks, I know it, and you know it, but I just saw another of this fool Ricketts commercials. He was babbling about the culture of life and other Conservative bullshit rallying points.

Even starts his commercials with i'm Pete Ricketts and I approve this message, just like his hero. (he thinks he is G.W. Bush)

I swore I was gonna right in a name instead of voting for 40-60 Ben, now I don't know.

Ricketts is ridiculous. I saw his commercials a few times and I can't believe he is running on those issues. I am so sick of these type of people getting elected to public office. They pull the ethics card and act like they're the only ones that are ethical. This is truly sickening and it should outrage even the conservatives. Maybe we'll get lucky and the conservatives will be smart enough to vote for Nelson. I'm afraid if too many of us write a name in or don't vote that this Ricketts character will win and be much worse than Nelson. Unless there is a better candidate than Nelson we need to vote for Nelson. Please vote for Nelson.

he's Fortenbury only more pro-corporate. WORSE THAN FORTENBURY is what I'm saying. I have no choice but to vote Nelson now and believe me, I wanted to send him a message.

4. Heard Ricketts on KFAB

talking with the morning guys. He was talking about fiscal conservatism mostly. Talking about running the government like he ran his business. Then he was plugging the “culture of life” And finally, he was trying to tie Ben Nelson to Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Hillary etc. The radio guys actually called him on this, which I was surprised about saying, “Ben is a lot more in the mold of Joe Lieberman and Zell Miller.” Ricketts backed down a little but the point was made – Ben does indeed have a (D) by his name. The morning guys then asked him if he was going to campaign on specific issues like the Boyd County Nuclear waste thing and Nelson’s vote on ANWAR drilling. Pete said he wasn’t sure yet, but then said that Ben’s vote on ANWAR was contrary to what Nebraskans would want. Overall, he did fine considering his target audience, but he didn’t say anything amazing or unexpected.

Responsibility? I think this one transcends state borders. What is a conservative in the present-day scheme of things? Instead the Limbaugh wet-brains say the "libruls" are destroying the country. The skins are peeling away from these leaders of the marching morons.
