Hey Nevada--question for you! |
|
What months do you guys experience cold weather (particularly Las Vegas)--would love to visit again--but want to visit when it's cold.
Thanks!
:hi:

1. Define cold... and Nevada... |

My opinion is it's cold from November to March. But then I'm from Louisiana. Plus I live in Las Vegas, but this is a very large state.

I'm from Colorado -- January is generally cold enough for a winter coat and gloves. Right now temps are high 60s/low 70s daytime, maybe 40s/50s at night (but that may be wishful thinking).

6. And here I am again, a month later -- |
|
It's January. It's chilly -- downright cold when the wind kicks up. It "slushed" a few days ago; nighttime temps are in the high 30s.
I do miss Colorado. It's a special place. sigh.

here in Las Vegas.
Low 30's low to barely mid 50's high for whole month of January.
Damp cold, too.
Colder November thru Febuary or March.

3. Well, I live in Elko and it's an 8-hr drive north of LV, we just got |
|
about 8 inches of snow last night and are expecting another 8 inches. We are only three hours away from SLC.

I hope it doesn't make life more difficult, like the snow in other places, like the midwest. I remember what a pain it was after the snow, before the plows came out...
Thanks for your response!

After 41 years of living in Vegas, my best recommendation is late November, December, January, February and early March. Bring money, have fun and leave the money when you leave. All donations are gratefully accepted. :)
