CMC and Elliot Hospital at it again ?
I've been trying to find a new GP for three weeks. I want one who has privileges at both CMC and the Elliot. Apparently, lately all the GP's in Manchester are "taking sides" and practicing at either one or the other. I called my Cardiologist's office (affiliated with the Elliot Hospital) for a referral and was told that it would be almost impossible now to find a GP who'll go to both hospitals, but I wasn't told WHY. Does anybody know why the failed merger in 1999 is affecting my choice of doctors NOW? I can't find any information.
