Belmont, Laconia (New Hampshire) officials charged in child sex case

LACONIA, N.H. -- A Laconia, New Hampshire man who is a city zoning official and a town official in neighboring Belmont has been charged with sexually assaulting young girls.

Forty-nine-year-old Gary Boisvert is on Laconia's Zoning Board of Adjustment and the building, code and health officer in Belmont.

He was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with assaulting two girls during several months in 2004 and 2005.

Boisvert already had been suspended from his Belmont job after being arrested last week on charges he sexually assaulted a 14-year old girl in May.
