Former County Administrator Sentenced To One Year In Jail
Nancy Cook, Former County Administrator Sentenced To One Year In Jail after having stolen over $40,000 from county coffers. The registered Republican who served in the position for a decade, appointed by a Republican controlled county commission, wasn't satisfied with the $90,000+ salary she was earning.

It is somewhat fitting that she'll be doing her time in the county jail that used to fall somewhat under her purview. Oh, yes, she shed a lot of crocodile tears and was prepared to make immediate restitution. Sorry, I'm not sympathetic.
