Schism in the NH Democratic party? |

http://nashuatelegraph.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20041020/ELECTIONS/110200073&SearchID=73187473502431What the hell is going on? You know, this is why we're a red state, because we can't even get along inside our own party, never mind beat the other one. ~A!

if he supported Granny D's bid for the Senate. He said he supported the ticket and went into talking about how great a Senator Judd Gregg is, then told Benson "You're no Judd Gregg"

in the NH Democratic Party. The tired old hacks that run our state party haven't done much to support Granny D at all. John Lynch hasn't done anything to advance the cause of the other candidates in this state - traditionally Democratic candidates support each other here. He's a lousy candidate, unfortunately for us all. I hope he wins, but he sucks - as does the State Party hierarchy.
It's easy to say now is not the time - but if not now - when? We don't ever talk about it - we don't ever deal with it. Progressives are leaving the party - soon all that will be left are old people and the Shaheen crowd - wondering why we never win.

Sometimes, things need to be shaken up. Our party leadership is scabby, and that's not really our way.
Time to make SOMETHING happen.

(former Congressional candidate)today at the Michael Moore event in Rye, and we talked a little bit about it. I haven't been to any of the "Left Out" meetings yet, but after the election I'll have time to hook up with them and see what they're doing. If we elected a party chair in every single town, and got them all to come to the next state party elections - we could take over.
and we need to!

I intend to get much more involved with the part going forward. I currently am the webmaster (volunteer) for Granny D, and I want to find work within the party, if possible, to help make things happen.
