New Jersey Secretary of State? |
|
Are you choosing a new Secretary of State in 2005?
Can you choose one who believes in paper ballots, not vapor ballots?

Regina Williams, is a political appointee, AFAIK. Which is good thing: I have heard that she is an incredibly polarizing and rude figure, going so far as to piss off Dems worse than repukes. I doubt that she will remain in a Corzine admin.
From what I understand, Corzine has real plans at fixing a lot of things that desperately need fixing.

2. When will Democrats start "getting it"? |
|
Every single Democratic Governor needs to start appointing solidly partisan Democratic Secretary of States and making sure their election boards are stocked full of loyal Party faithful.

3. We don't vote for Secretary of State here. |
|
The governor appoints the Secretary of State. I hope this will change in the near future. (Don't some states have to vote for stuff like Secretary of Agriculture, Commerce, and so on?)

Speaking of that, when's the last time NJ has had a ballot initiative. We need to do things like that too
