Jean Constantino may keep her two children home Tuesday, because the Middletown school district is not broadcasting live President Barack Obama's back-to-school speech to students.

"I'm caught between a rock and a hard place — How am I to keep them home to listen to the president talk about the value of education and not contradict myself?"
But what Constantino thinks is ridiculous is the district not broadcasting the speech.
"My children should have a right to hear our president making a positive speech, without somebody else making that decision," Constantino said.
