N.J. Supreme Court Rules On Menendez Recall Attempt

"New Jersey’s Supreme Court has ruled that a recall committee can not continue with its attempt to unseat U-S Senator Bob Menendez.

By a vote of 4-to-2 the court said the New Jersey law that allows for recalls of federal officials violates the U-S Constitution.

RoseAnn Salanitri is president of the Tea-Party inspired group that mounted the recall effort because it opposed the senator’s votes on health care and cap and trade.
