Fulani's party to tab Mike

DAILY NEWS CITY HALL BUREAU CHIEF

Lenora Fulani's Independence Party is set to endorse Mayor Bloomberg this weekend, giving him a possible boost - but also a big potential headache.

Fulani's recent refusal to disavow her 1995 comments that Jews were "mass murderers of people of color" have outraged many New Yorkers, particularly Jews, a key voting bloc.

But Bloomberg campaign aides said yesterday the mayor will accept the party's backing, just as he did in 2001, while denouncing Fulani's comments.
