bag searches by police in subway |
|
I took the subway to 86 St. today. I saw the search table that the cops were using in the subway station. I made a decision end my club membership at the NYSC at 86 St. since I do not view it as worth the hassle and also I am going to try to do as little business as possible anywhere in the city.

1. Is it really going to help? |

On the one hand, such tactics might scare a terrorist, but what if he is determined to commit a crime in the city with more than 10 mil. population?

2. to me, that is not a valid argument |

I do not want the inconvenience of having my gym bag checked. Along with that I want every service member along with every government employee pulled from overseas so that these nonexistent "terrorists" won't be provoked.
A "bag search" isn't going to stop anybody from doing anything.
