in the New York area (Preferably in Brooklyn or Staten Island)

The price range is between 250,000 to 500,000

It must be near a synagouge or a Jewish neighborhood.

If you can point me to a couple of websites to start, it would be great.

We are specifically looking in the following locations in Brooklyn:

Borough Park
Flatbush
Midwood
Crown Heights

Staten Island:

Wildwood (or something like that)
