Hey NY.... We're coming visiting... looking for advice |
|
So we have a week booked at the Rihga Royal starting Nov 14th. No big plans other than just hanging out, eating good food, some museums, a show or two, etc. But is there anything special happening that week I should know about ?
I was thinking relative to live music since that is pretty much a staple down here in Austin but don't want to limit it to that only. Anyway, its been a while since I was there, whats the best way to get dialed into the "special" events when we arrive ?
Thanks in advance,
MZr7

1. Pick up a copy of the Village Voice |
|
its free and will tell you all about what's up with the music and art scene for the week
if your going to broadway, try to see Avenue Q, it's hilarious and takes a couple of good digs at repukes and shrub.
and if you wanna have a beer one night PM me

3. Buy a copy of TimeOut NY when you are here, it has |
|
a ton of Music, art, Museums, food, comedy, show, etc. listings. It comes out once a week. its a great resourse. plus, it usually has over 200 free things to do in each issue
