Buffalo News endorses Kevin Helfer, a repug for Mayor!

In their endorsement the News actually said that Helfer was known not to be a deep thinker! So they're endorsing a moran is what it boils down to. Helfer was a top aide for the turncoat disaster known as County Executive Joel Giambra and he has the backing of one of the most corrupt city developers. The Democrat Byron Brown had a substantial lead over Helfer in last week's polls. I was going to vote for the Green Party candidate Judy Einach, but my vote is going to go to Brown to keep Helfer from eeking in. I never underestimate the racist element in Buffalo. Many white Dems I fear are having second thoughts about pulling the lever for a black candidate here in one of the most segregated cities in the country. I'm seeing plenty of Helfer signs in solidly Democratic areas of the city like South Buffalo. Sorry Judy, I'm voting for Byron.
