Rockefeller Center has reopened its Observation Deck! |

http://www.topoftherocknyc.com/ODTStatic/site.htmI'm so glad they reopened the Observation Deck. I've seen a lot of vintage pictures and postcards of it and have always thought it was a mistake to close it. Without the WTC as a second observation deck, I'm glad that Rockefeller Center is stepping up to fill the void. New story here: http://www.nynewsday.com/news/local/manhattan/nyc-rock1027,0,4243872.story?coll=nyc-moreny-headlines Here's a glass sculpture for its lobby:

1. Yeah, it was featured on the Today Show this morning. |

Looked awesome, too...had a glass top elevator with projections all over the elevator shaft above as you go up.
They had Matt Lauer and Al Roker doing reports from the deck, and the view was spectacular.
