Local churches teamed up Thursday morning to protest the war in Iraq.
Members of the First Unitarian Church lined Winton Road this morning, holding up signs and calling for U.S. troops to be brought home.
Among the protestors was Marilyn Lambert-Fisher, whose own son fought in Iraq.
“I'm not willing to sacrifice my son for a war that is unjust and immoral and shouldn't have happened in the first place,” she said.
First Unitarian was one of four Rochester area churches to protest the war and call for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.
