Newburgh to be first city in the nation to use Pistol-Cam (huh?)
Looky what our local Republican political machine has churned up. In the midst of a mayoral race full of fireworks in our city, this pops up. One of the mayoral candidates (the Democrat who won the primary, unfortunately) is running because her grandson was shot and killed, while he was shooting at the police on a public street in the middle of the day. They are claiming that this gadget is in response to this "controversial" shooting. And the police chief is claiming that, (it)"will enable us to better our cooperation and interaction with the City of Newburgh community.”
