Give me a few good reasons why I shouldn't move to NYC... |
|
The Upper West Side, to be more exact.
Right there on Riverside Drive, overlooking Riverside Park and the Hudson. Right across the street from the Children's Museum (now a private residence).
I am moving from the SFBay area (Tiburon) and going for broke.
And I have always wanted to live in the City.

Look forward to seeting you at our local meetups.
I think the cost of living is comparable. Be sure to check out the car insurance rates though. Those can be a tad high. Do you have a job lined up?

9. I look forward to same. |

I had lunch with fellow DUer Stephanie last week and she was bemoaning the lack of regular meet-ups.
Maybe we can shake that up.
I hope to be there within the month.
And I do not have a job lined up, I am acting on blind faith.

Brooklyn. The island is mostly on a ridge, you see ... built in higher ground. And if we ever wanna make more land, we'll reclaim like the good dutch colony we were - with our durable trash.
Tom will fit right in. Les Paul is still giving his concerts ... saw him profiled on NY1 just this week. We'll adapt - it's worth it.
