Anyone here near Buffalo that could do me a HUGE favor? |
|
Hi New Yorkers.
Some of you may know that I am writing a gigantic history of my dad's Smith family (am up to 912 pages, with no end in sight).
Due to volunteers from all over the country at Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness, I've been able to get TONS of the information I need, but there is no one working in Buffalo at getting the information I need. And I REALLY can't afford to hire a genealogist in the area with my husband, reprehensor not working right now.
What I would need would be 2 obituaries from the local library, and 2 pictures from the Forest Lawn Cemetery (I already have the exact location- you'd just need to have someone point it out on a cemetery map for you).
I can pay you for gas and copying costs. PM me for more details if you're interested! Thanks, ya'll fsc

Sorry we can't PM yet. I almost missed your message!
Here is the couple I'm looking for:
Edward Payson Burt d. March 14, 1950 Minnie Myrtle Burt d. Feb 26, 1943
They are buried in the Garden Columbarium Section 15, Niche 26 at Forest Lawn.
For the obituaries, I really need the newspaper name, date, and the page number for footnotes. Let me know how much copies and gas run you, and you'll get a thanks in the book! :D
