2. How hard is it to endorse the presidential nominee of your party? |
|
One would think as popular is Barack is Shuler would jump at the chance to endorse him.
He needs to ignore the racist hillbillies that put Clinton over the top in the primary

4. Heath might be surprised how Obama has caught the energy |
|
in his (Shuler's) 11th Congressional District in WNC. He'd better get on board. He said that he would support whomever his District supported. In the primary his District went for Clinton 2 to 1. However, they are now totally behind Obama and are gathering lots of independents (unaffiliated) and Repugs too in the support of Obama. The movement is strong folks and I don't think that we will know how strong until the votes are tallied on election day.

11. Shuler WAS a republican, and IS a "Blue Dog" |
|
so maybe he's a DixieCrat too.
In the 1800s, the democratic party was mostly white supremacists.

7. This is what disgusts me about NC Democrats |

They have no real backbone. Dating back all the way to Jim Hunt, our party has consistently put up idiots who can't stand up against the right-wing bigots that live in this state. Why is Shuler so afraid to endorse Obama? Is he afraid there will be a backlash against his campaign? LOL Whatever... Heath you either support the man or you don't. It is simple. I am glad you aren't in my district b/c your representation of your constituents is poor. STAND UP FOR OUR COUNTRY, GO AGAINST THE GRAIN AND SUPPORT BARACK!

10. Makes no sense to me! |

I mean, damn, Shuler! Your district has more Dems than Republicans, and Asheville is hosting the next president of the United States! For cryin out loud, everyone already knows that you're a Democrat, dude! It's not going to cost you one single vote if you endorse Obama. I've about had it with these spineless Democrats. I mean, I can't stand Republicans, but usually you know exactly where they stand!
