Finally! Mixed drinks in Boone!

At last, yesterday the people of Boone approved mixed drinks in a referendum by a landslide... 73% - 27%! It's about time! We've had beer, wine, and an ABC store since 1986. The Holy Rollers were surprisingly ineffective this time around, despite all the warnings of death and destruction on the highways. I am so relieved. Boone is a rather liberal-leaning town, so it's nice that we have finally shed the last trappings of Prohibition! Cheers!! :toast:
