Western NC, including Asheville, seems to be having a problem.

Today's paper said there's very little gas anywhere in Buncombe County.

I'm passing plenty of gas stations without any gas. It's tending to be Exxon and BPs that are out, though I've seen a Hess without midgrade (though it was closed - 11pm) - the Shells that were former Crowns seem to have gas but are 4.19/gallon.
I'd say right now if you need gas get it where you can, sod the price.
Mark.

3 gas stations near my house are OUT of gas.
I agree - get the gas where you can get it.
