Triangle DUers and anyone nearby: More Healthcare rallies

I went to Kay Hagan's office yesterday to protest for the national healthcare option.

It was pretty contentious as a larger group of Freepers had showed up and had begun to surround us! Fortunately, Raleigh police separated us before it got too out of hand. It was a small group, but a very dedicated one and I was glad I got the chance to go. There were folks of all ages there. One woman brought her teenaged granddaughter.

There was also a very elderly mom there, Mid-80s, I'm guessing. Very cool that she felt like coming out.

If you want to join in, there will be another protest in Durham next week. Please send me a note for details. I don't want to give the Freepers any ideas since I'm not the principal organizer.
