Asheville request

Any Asheville folks:

I'm working with the Asheville Homeless Network, the only group run BY the homeless, FOR the homeless. They are working very hard to get the City Council to provide some free bus passes. If you agree that this would be a good thing, it would be most helpful if you would take the time to send an email to Gordon Smith in support of this endeavor.

As a resident of Asheville concerned about our homeless community, I would like to ask you to please continue to persuade the City Council to support free bus passes through the Asheville Homeless Network. These fellow citizens who have lost so much need the support of our whole community, including both city government and individual residents. Transportation is vital if they are to be able to find and retain jobs and basic services.
