to help NO refugees. She is so a fical conservative. Where was she when federal money (our money) was spent on Halliburton, veterans, or the war? Was she so vigilant with our tax dollars? Am I off here? Is there a vote that I missed?

the initial $10 billion but not the extra $50 billion. The W-S Journal praised her decision naturally.

2. but isn't the money going to Halliburton anyway? |
|
and not really to help the people?
I was shocked, because I figured that the Whitehouse wants the big spending free for all, since Halliburton has a no bid contract in Louisiana.

3. IIRC, she said there was no accountability for how the money was spent. |

I've had the (mis)fortune of meeting Ms. Foxx several times. Her home is just right down the road from me. Also I work with people who used to work with her at ASU. She strikes me as a harsh, unfeeling bitch who epitomizes "compassionate conservatism." Yuck. Apparently she grew up incredibly poor but she has certainly forgotten where she came from. I'll say one thing for her, though... she's consistent and she never missed any votes in the NC Senate. That's about all I could say about her without turning red and frothing at the mouth.
