Rep. Price co-sponsors troop withdrawal resolution
Hours after Iraq officially ratified its new constitution, Congressmen Brad Miller and David Price called on President Bush to began withdrawing troops as soon as possible.

In a resolution submitted to the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday, the two North Carolina Democrats said Bush needs to submit to Congress a detailed exit strategy, giving a date for the first troops to come out and a list of accomplishments yet to be attained.
...

Price said, “While we should never have started this war…and although no ideal option for ending it is available to us now, the October 15 referendum vote offers the best opportunity we are likely to have to begin the process of withdrawal credibly and hopefully – to turn the responsibility for Iraq’s future over to the Iraqis themselves and to repair the diplomacy and foreign policy from which the invasion of Iraq has been such a tragic departure for our country.”

Rep. Price's action shows that he listened to us constituents who asked him for a call to bring the troops home. Call him (202-225-1784) or email him (http://www.house.gov/formprice/email.htm) to say thank you!
