Don't forget to mark the $3 check off box when you do your taxes!
The PUBLIC CAMPAIGN FUND helps state level judicial candidates who choose to accept strict fundraising limits. In 2004, 12 of the 16 candidates opted in to this model program, which also prints and distributes Judicial Voter Guides. The $3 does NOT add to your taxes or decrease your refund. It does allow good candidates to run, regardless of personal wealth.

This year, when doing your taxes, there’s an easy way to support the NC Democratic Party at no additional cost to you:
On your North Carolina Income Tax Return under the North Carolina Political Parties Financing Fund, simply check-off $1.00 to the Democratic Party.
These check-offs do not reduce the size of any refund that you are due and will not increase the tax amount you owe.
