Meet Democratic candidates in Winston-Salem Saturday

For the first time in a number of years there is a nearly full slate of Democratic candidates in Forsyth County for this November. With no statewide race we are hoping to increase turnout for our side with a strong grassroots effort.

But that depends on folks like us in the netroots connecting all the way to the grassroots.

The local party is hosting a "Campaign Caper" to kick things off Saturday from noon to 2pm at Winston-Square Park (downtown on Marshall between 4th and 3rd).

There will be food and music, plus you can talk to candidates . . . .

Including me! My sig line became something I had to live up to, and the rest is onrushing history.

I know from all of the others I have spoken with that we need lots of help of all kinds.
