1. He doth protest too much |

If this is true, considering that NC has early voting, the actual evidence needs to come out NOW.
The jig should be up - conservative right wingers thought that the GOP was so holy, and if it takes a sex scandal to wake them up, then so be it.
I was sorry to read the negative remarks about Austin Allran.
Allran was responsible for getting the entire republican caucus to support NC's tough election law, S 223 or Session Law 323. We could NOT have gotten all of that GOP support without him.

2. voting begins October 19th |
|
Early, no-excuse absentee voting will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19th,
If there are supporting facts to the claims, they need to "come out" now. Or very soon.

what you are saying. But, since when do the Repubs rely on supporting facts? Using McHenry's own rationale, let him prove he's NOT gay. I say this needs to be spread far and wide, with or without supporting facts. If we don't get rid of this SOB, he is going to be one of their big players. That's why he moved into the district just in the nick of time (his GOP primary opposition claimed, "not in time") to be elected in '04. The 10th District is supposedly safe GOP territory.
