I am assuming Friday evening. Early afternoon would be fine for me but presumedly not for others. I get off work at 330 and will likely not go home before doing dinner with you all.

BTW, just so you know, the new place next to Devine's ( "Alivia's" ) brought us carafes of coffee and water for FREE on the night we protested at the anniversary of the War. That was last Monday evening. So Alivia's gets 2 thumbs up in my book for that act!

14. Yes, it's more than Devine's. About the same as Niko's price-wise.

The food at Aliva's is top-notch, though. They have lots of out-door seating too. The coffee is very tasty.

I got there at 730 and couldn't find anyone, so I left.

30. Gosh. Sorry we missed you. We were at Satisfactions from about 7:10

to about 11:00 PM but they stuck us at a table which was really hard to find -- it was in the area to the right of the front door close to the front wall, and there were a bunch of peaople from a nearby party who spent most of the evening standing up so we couldn't see people as they came in :(

"oh should we go elsewhere?"; they said "oh look we have a table" and stuck us there. I dunno why they weren't using a whole empty room they had ...

I can see how it happened. I would have been there at 7 but got bum directions which made me think that Southpoint was much closer to that than it was so I didn't leave Southpoint until about 5 till 7.

Since I don't know what anyone looks like my task was more difficult. Anyway, I decided you might have gone elsewhere.

I did walk up to one table and ask a woman if they were the DU? Democratic Underground? She looked like I had thrown a brick at her. The look on her face was worth the trip.

I did know who to look for and I struck out too. I figured, given the huge crowd, that you all had gone to another place but given the enormous number of places in that area I had no idea where to start. I had shopped and taken in a movie first to kill time and was late due to bum directions from the net. Stuff happens.
