The clueless people my state senator hires

Here is the response I got from the legislative assistant of Eddie Goodall, my state senator, in reference to H1517. I got this response six days after the bill passed:

Thank you for your e-mail. Both the Senate and House have adjourned.
The soonest this bill will be heard is May 2008. There is a possibility
for a "Special Session", but it is most likely going to be on
transportation. I have given your thoughts and concerns to the Senator.
