Coy Privette protest

Discussion forum from Charlotte Observer announces a protest against Cabarrus County Commissioner Coy Privette, who announced he will not resign in the wake of his recent sex scandal.

Protesters are asked to meet just prior ( 6:15) to the next County Commissioners meeting on September 17 in front of the County Governmental Building.


Organizers are also asking Cabarrus residents to send emails requesting Mr. Privette's resignation to [e-mail]

"All received emails will be personally handed to Mr. Privette at the next County Commissioner meeting. By not sending your emails directly to Privette we can keep track of the number of people who are asking him to resign, since Mr. Privette himself can not be trusted to give anyone accurate numbers about how his constituents feel."
