Party Plans for Saturday 10/27!!

Saturday won the most votes in the other thread, so Saturday it is.

Here's the info:

Feel free to come anytime after 6:30 on saturday. Costumes are optional but fun. I will probably be dressed normally but with weird makup.

I'm not trying to be fancy. I'm planning on having wine and tea/coffee available. And some halloween candy. :-) And I will have have a couple of things. I got a recipe from Ina Garten that works really well. It's palmiers made with sundried tomato pesto. And something else slightly heavier that I haven't decided on. Maybe a deli tray.

And of course I'm decorating. I love Halloween decorations. Sometimes I think they are more fun than xmas ones.

I'm open to whatever you would like to bring. If you want beer, go for it. If you've got some fab recipe you want us to be lab rats for, go for it. :evilgrin: If you wanna bring something from the bakery section of Kroger's that's fine too. :-) IOW, I want this to be a bit of a pot luck. i think it will be more fun this way.

If you need directions, pm me and I'll tell you how to get here.

Oh and if you have a camping chair or two, bring it. I'm rather spartan in my living habits these days.

so if you want mixed frozen drinks, let me know so I can hit the liquor store.

2. I don't think I'll be able to make it, I'm afraid.

My parents are coming to visit over the weekend, and it's
the first time I've seen them in two years.

The only way they would "fit in" at your party is if
we told everyone that they were in costume as
"teetotalling, B*sh-voting bible-thumpers".
