1. Against, and here's why...

As a business student, I felt that it could be interpreted as stopping businesses from offering benefits packages to same-sex couples, which is becoming a more common practice around the country, even in areas that ban same-sex unions/marriages. So I voted against it on the ground that it trampled on business rights.
