Ok. I think Ed Schultz made an ass of himself today with Dean

He's was back in prime old time Ed/KFGO mode, having a spasm because Dean hadn't yet appears on The Most Important Progressive Radio Show in the Universe.

Ya know, Ed, you don't have to turn into Rush to beat him.

Yes, he can critique the total fundraising, but Ed always is correct in that Dean (and almost every other Democrat) needs to be in the media more, including radio.

So far Joel is doing pretty good with News and Views. I love the internet stream.

So, the radio mostly stays off in the am unless I'm stuck in the car. Then, I have to listen Scott Hennen. Know Thine Enemy and all that.

But I listened to him after the interview and Ed was dead on target about the inability of the Democrats to get a simple consistent message out in an effective, widespread way.

"Oh, nobody pays attention to me, no big guests come on my show, no press, and I'm so great, boo hoo..."

She SEEMS to be too sharp to sink to that level of self-pity crapola, but she does it in one way or another virtually every show. I stopped listening... I bet she was moaning the blues in SPADES this week now that Al Franken's back on Sundance.

Sorry, but I've never heard Malloy bitch along these lines... maybe because he's grateful to have a freakin' job.

6. I TRY to keep Ed on here,

because it is my lunch break and I'm out of the building (can't stream AAR), but, I get very frustrated with his steady self-promotion. Randi does it too and I have paid attention to AL, Mike, Stephanie Miller, and the Majority Report, where they do their job and do it well. I am afraid I can't take Ed and Randi in large doses.

8. Last month Ed said on his radio show that

Dean must have his head up his ass, because he wasn't in the news constantly. (paraphrased)
I like Ed, and I believe he is frustrated with the DNC, but after hearing that statement I didn't think that Dean would even talk to him.
Dean is reaching out to red staters, Ed thinks that he should be more visible (MSM). Who is right?

Ed did a good job late in the 2nd hour and the start of the 3rd talking about this today.
