Pryce’s lead over Kilroy grows with 2 counties’ totals |
|
From the Columbus Dispatch: " Deborah Pryce’s lead over Mary Jo Kilroy grew by 181 votes yesterday in their still-undecided congressional race, a smaller gain than expected in the Republican strongholds of Madison and Union counties." http://www.dispatch.com/news/news.php?story=dispatch/2006/11/22/20061122-B6-00.html

1. a lot more good news than bad though... |
|
Pryce only gained 181 votes instead of the 250 projected by the Dispatch.
Of even more significance is the 1800 additional Franklin County ballots that were discovered to be as yet uncounted. How many of these are in OH-15 is TBD, but this would seem to be even better news for Mary Jo.
The article says Kilroy has to win 61% of the uncounted votes (prior to these additional votes) to catch up with Pryce. Since about half of these votes are (heavily D) provisionals this seems quite doable.
And if not, the additional 1800 votes, or whatever portion belong to OH-15, will at least marginally favor Kilroy.

2. 30 machines were not counted? |
|
That should have been the headline not that Pryce's lead grows.
No way that was just an accident .... the BOE is just finding out that 30 machines were not counted.
Kilroy won this race.
Any bets where these machines were from?

4. @ the end of the day all vote totals from all machines have to posted. |
|
And posted in a public place.
I smelled a rat when @ 8:00 PM they did not post the absentee vote in the Kilroy v Pryce race ..... that vote (or at least 90% of it) was counted by then.
This fucking stinks of dirt to high heaven.
