Governor's Inaugural Activities |

Anyone got a report? How was the party? Who was the best dressed (you?)? Who gave the best speech or one-liner? Did you overhear any good gossip? What were you wearing? Where did you stay? Did you go to the breakfast? Was it crowded? Did you have a good time? How crowded WAS it? Who called for tickets when they were already sold out (me)? Did you meet an elected official for the first time? What were they like in person? Who was the funniest person you talked to? The happiest? The most serious? Was there any dancing on the table. What was the best campaign story you heard?
Come on Ohio DU'ers! Let's liven this forum up! I say we have our own virtual celebration.

I'm still trying to regain my inner energy, as it was a long campaign season to engage while working full time! Yes, I deserved to celebrate too but I feel worn done. I also gained weight during the campaign action....Too much fast food....then, get this....
From what I heard, they served hamburgers and fries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There were about 6,000 there. Lots of black-tie.....
So, I'll catch-up with friends in the Spring after hitting the gym.

after concentrating so much energy on campaigns, I was totally focused on my family and the holidays after the election. You are right, there is only so much energy to go around. I had planned on taking my kids to Sherrod's swearing-in and missed that opportunity. Too much going on.
