Kathleen Sebelius (D-Kansas Governor) is John Gilligan's daughter

and she is chairing the Democrats at The Governor's Association meeting going on now and covered on C-SPAN. Didn't know this, but learned it this morning. She says her two favorite pixs in her office are her with her dad on his inauguration day and her dad with her on her inauguration day. They constitute the first father-daughter pair of governors in the United States. John Gilligan was elected governor in 1970 and lost to Rhodes in 1974.
