Senator Lieberman just made reference to Ohio Senator Brown being a student in his class (?) |
|
on the Senate Floor (being broadcast on CSPAN).
Two things (1) as long as I have known Brown, I had to think for a moment, who is Senator Brown, is he talking about a state senator. I don't know a state senator brown, and why.... Oh, it's just still unreal. He's a senator now. What an achievement, what he is going to be able to do for Ohio now....
(2) I wonder if Liebermann even knows how far apart he and Sherrod are on the issues...of the day....
...don't know why the mention was made; must have missed something relevant before I tuned in.
I would like to see Sherrod be the Democrat who reads Washington's Farewell address next year. There was a pathetic reading of it by Republican Senator Bob Corker this year, and it is a Senate tradition that alternates between Democrats and Republicans every year on Washington's birthday or near about.
