Sorry everyone...a few minutes after I posted that because it was official, and a planning session was going on, it was unexpectedly cancelled. Reason - they found something "closer" (to WHAT?)....Rumor is the Wolfe's wanted it at a place more friendly to their power base.

2. I JUST got a call that the event was moved to another location

JUST spoke to the owners of the establishment. They JUST 10 minutes ago got a call that said they "found something closer"...during a PLANNING session with CBS.

I think somone with more power got the broadcast moved..I am editing my OP now

I think the Wolfe Family got the event moved...that is the rumor.

I'm just "nutz" this week.....can't wait until Wednesday....rest then on to Pennsylvania fo rhte weekends. My family lives in Pittsburgh.

4. Sorry, I was only emphasizing...these folks called and canceled

during a meeting with their advance team. There had been a lot of plans, lots of money spent, then the announcement was allowed out, the meeting with the advance team in session, and New York called and said "Oops, sorry" the very second I hit POST MESSAGE on the OP

Lots of pissed off people let me tell you! Gathering up their bills, telling CBS " who can we send these to?" and CBS going "not us" and the folks who spent the money on direction of CBS saying "well, we could SUE you and make it public" and CBS then giving them a PO for payment. THAT was funny to listen to.
