Fellow Ohioans: Good homes needed for monarch butterfly caterpillars. |
|
If you have land with milkweed patches, please pm me if you are interested in receiving these. I will deliver, if necessary.

5. Sorry, I didn't notice the date. |

Keep us in mind next year. We have five acres with one house on it. We don't mow except for 20 feet around the house so over the last 13 years Mother Nature has really set us up nicely. We have a great stand of milkweed that has taken over the front part of the lawn and the butterflies are happy as can be. We invite anyone who likes to watch them to come over and chill. Have a good one, Kim

and one of only five in the nation is in Dayton, at the Cox Arboretum, where I volunteer.
If any of you Ohio DUers are in my neighborhood, I'd love to take you on a tour.

and now, me, the ultimate "rationalist," is reading a book about ravens (Mind of the Raven, Bernd Heinrich). After going to Yellowstone early June, I am totally ready to go back to the wild and never come back. Also, to Maumee Bay two weekends ago. Incredible marsh boardwalk (it's over 2 miles).
