I received a robo-call yesterday from the Ohio Republican Party |
|
I guess I'm on their list or the person who previously had my phone number was.
It was about abortion and suggested that some candidates running for office are in favor of partial birth, etc... They were very careful to say it's an issue based call and not sponsored by any candidate.
They're really pulling out all the stops and using the same playbook as '04. I hope the democratic party understands the extent they're going to to bring out the base.

1. Thanks for the heads-up. |

If I get a call like that I'll try to get the name of the company making it and report it. To someone. (?)

2. you can't report it as abuse |
|
calls by candidates, political action groups and non-profits are exempt under the DO NOT CALL rules.
They use a fake caller ID or no caller ID in most cases.
Perhaps you'll get lucky :-)

if the info they're asking about i.e., "partial abortions," isn't correct, can't I at least let the Obama campaign know?
