| 19. Hard work finally paid off as they have called NC for Obama finally. |
|
The hold up in calling it has been the problem with counting the 40,000 provisional ballots from the college kids. We know how they will vote so it is a pretty sure thing. Isn't it great to finally be a winner?

I moved to Wisconsin this past summer. I was a poll worker during the 2004 election in Columbus. I'm sorry I wasn't there to help celebrate this one.

2008 (Obama - 24,000 McCain - 32,000) Fraction 3/7 http://www.boe.co.medina.oh.us/results-1.htm2004 (Bush - 48,000 Kerry - 36,000) Fraction 3/7 http://www.sos.state.oh.us/SOS/elections/electResultsMain/2004ElectionsResults/04-1102PresVicePres.aspxThere were 28,000 fewer votes this election, over 2004. Go figure !

| 11. Montgomery County (Dayton) was the only BLUE county down |
|
here in SW OHIO. I'm surprised about Hamilton County because I thought we could turn it BLUE; VolcanoJen worked so hard down there and was so optimistic.

| 13. The best thing about this election in Ohio... |
|
was the State went blue. I am sure my republican friends here in SW Ohio are not going to want to see me for some time. I am flying my US flag at the house for the second time since the 2000 election, 9/11/2001 was the first!

| 17. So, how do we respond to those Repubs? I'm facing the same |
|
dilemma here in Dayton. I'd love to smack 'em down, but maybe this isn't the time. After all, Obama says we're not Repubs or Dems, we're Americans.
How will you handle the situation, Rex?

| 20. So far I have not talked to anyone... |
|
I know that they are in a really pissy mood today from what I have heard. I will leave them alone at this point. My strategy is to say we need to bring this country together and if they don't respond in kind I will ask them "why do they hate America so much." I respect Obama so much that I am willing to be nice to these people but only up to a point. If they can't come around all bets are off.
