Betty Sutton (OH-13) responds to misogynist tactics from car salesman opponent. |
|
This is a campaign mass-email that I received.
Dear *******,
The GOP just sent out a newsletter that reads, “Let’s take Betty Sutton out of the House and put her back in the kitchen!” This is a disturbing message, even more so with Tom Ganley’s $2 million paying for it.
I don’t know about you, but I’m stunned by how sexist and backwards these Republicans are, even in the 21st Century! I am asking you to stand with me today and contribute $35, $75 or even $150 today to send a message to Tom Ganley and the GOP that we must move forward and not back in time.
The fact that my opponent has aligned himself with these chauvinist ideas and paid for an advertisement in that newsletter is despicable! I’ve called upon Ganley to denounce these tactics and demand the unapologetic chairman of the Medina County Republicans, Bill Heck, resign.
In these uncertain times, we should be thinking forward, not backward. We must be looking for real solutions to these economic problems and job losses. While I have been working to create jobs in Ohio, my opponent has apparently been working hard to rally the support of the good old boys network.
Please, help me counter this backward attack and demand we move Ohio forward. Your contribution of $35, $75 or $150 today will help us build a campaign based on progressive ideas, not sexist rhetoric.
The choice in November is clear: a progressive leader or someone who will turn back the clock. But I need your help to wage a winning campaign. Thank you for all that you do.
Sincerely,
Rep. Betty Sutton Ohio’s 13th Congressional District
P.S. – Stand with me and keep Ohio in the 21st Century. Contribute $35, $75 or $150 today and tell Tom Ganley and the GOP that we won’t tolerate their sexism and backward ideas!
Paid for and authorized by Betty Sutton for Congress

2. We are going to have to work real hard to keep Betty in the House |
|
She will up against this used car salesmen who will use these tactics all the way to November. Add that to the fact that his name is plastered all over the TV every time you turn it on and the back of a lot of cars in this area.
You know he will be in his adds for his cars personally a whole lot more now just to get face time.

So that is who is running against Sutton then..Ganley? Is that the guy who does those radio commericals in which he complains about something going on in government and then proceeds to advertise his car company. I looked at the platform of a lot of those republicans and it was pretty bad. It was all about "we must cut the department of education" and other far right mumbo

4. Bob Serpentini used to narrate his own Clinton-derangement ads |

So I will never buy a Chevrolet from him.
There was an alternative band who started a song with a choice editing job on one of his nasty commercials. All that "proud to be American" stuff.
