We're going to need probably close to 500,000 signatures (rather than just the 230,000 or so necessary to get the issue on the ballot), because that toolbox Husted (who I happen to know personally, and believe me, he IS a toolbox) is going to try to invalidate as many of those signatures as possible.

When we got our petition training we were told that the goal was far beyond the necessary signatures because the Republicans "already had the high-priced lawyers in place" to negate as many signatures as possible.
