Greater Cleveland's air once again failed to make the grade.
For the sixth straight year, the American Lung Association gave the region a failing mark because of high ground-level ozone and soot pollution.
The lung association announced its findings in a national report released Wednesday based on data from 2001 to 2003.
Greater Cleveland ranked eighth for soot pollution. The region ranked 14th for ground-level pollution, which is formed in the atmosphere when pollutants from internal combustion engines and power plants combine with oxygen on hot, sunny, windless days...
