Okies, I have a question for yas

Are any of you familiar with an OKC/Tulsa band called Stars? My wife and I have been going out to see them play for the last 13 years. We used to go see them all the time, then I went in the Air Force. We were gone for 8 years and when we came back and saw they were still a band, we almost died!

We still go out each once in a while to check them out. If you do the same, give me a shout sometime and I'll buy ya a beer.

But then I'm fairly ignorant of local bands.

An acquaintance of mine had/has a band (Ray Davis and a Pocketful of Blues) that ran around the Blues clubs, so I got to know some of those bands, but little else. He's since moved to Dallas and has problems with his musicians, so I don't even know if that band exists anymore ... but I digress.

Let me know when and where they'll be playing in OKC, and I'll try to check them out.

2. They're kinda cheezy, but very talented

My wife really digs them because they play about 40 years worth of top-40 music.
